So, if you all read the last last bloggerooni, this is what a link shall go to between IHOP and Monday night football at the Carroll’s house.
We left IHOP on a search for Denny’s, but instead happened onto a delightful treasure…More please!
We drove down 164th (well, I believe its 162nd and then curves into 164th, but who’s keeping track…) and David realized that one of his most favorite trees was coming up on the right. He points it out to me, and it’s absolutely amazing! I love trees soooooo much, and this tree was fantasic! It warmed my heart. It was just this hooge, lone tree in the middle of what looked like a never-ending field. The base of the trunk was surrounded by tall tall TALL grass and bushes and it was just all so perfect. We decided that that night MUST be the night to climb that little angel tree.
David walked on a wall..

He’s so great. :)
As we walked through the field, we for sure knew that pictures were a necessity. Needless to say, we had fun in that field.

We also made a sweet vid, which is right here..
To the tree we frolicked! Froliced? No. Frolicked. There was a little path in the bushes so that was cool. We walked through and it was neat. There was a whole circle surrounded by the bushes and there was a perfect little nub that would help us get up on that first branch.
Up we went.

I guess some other kids, at some point in time, saw how sweet this tree was and decided to make it DavidandAli friendly with ladder planks and a rope and a big board to sit on that was pretty high up.
We sat and enjoyed one another and tried to take as much of this adventure in as possible before we had to be a Monday night foozeball.

It was the perfect excercise to work off IHOP and Shari’s. We ran and jumped and climbed and were great.
“Such cool kids, they are!”- A quote straight from the lips of Yoda, himself.
Thanks, Yo…da. Look at all the pictures on Flickr!
